The Japanese businessmen running from the rex in the San Diego sequence of TLW are saying 'I left Tokyo to get away from this!' in their native language.

Bob, you seem to know a suspiciously large amount about jp3. I think you know more then you are letting on. If you do know about any scenes that Dan doesn't know about then please tell him.
    I want news now!!!

Nash Bridges is a cop in LA on the television series...hmm....

Evilgrinch-About Nash. It is very strange because he is only referred to one more time that I can find. It is a scene filmed in LA and he is with Cooper and Ordesky, so obviously it is before they head to Isla Sorna because Cooper is still alive. I don't know who he is.

this sounds really dumb!!! what the hell is wrong with the makers of this film? it looks like they're trying their hardest to make it suck!!

    Like they said in TLW:

Hammond: I'm not making the same mistakes again.

Malcom: That's right. You're making entirely new ones!

Ya. I could see it now. Grant sitting there, being very anxious. Then, he hears a voice behind him. "Uh, excuse me" it says. Grant turns around, AND HE GETS HIT ON THE HEAD WITH A STICK BY ERNIE!!!

    LOL!!!

At 3:43:18 AM on 10/7/2000, Utahraptor said:
Yay, ernie's in the film. I hope he wacks Grant with a stick.
It should be real, not a dream. Much more fun that way. And thye don't realize this until they're in the air.
They do say the Raptor and Grant are int he ppane. The Raptor si seated next to him. How cna it be seated outside?
This is why Grant cna't drink. Drunk dreams suck.
Anyway, I'm sure it's nothing like you people make it out. A raptor sitting is jsut that. Sitting like a Raptor. No one , making a serious movie, would seat a Raptor crosslegegd, unless the news reports an authentic fosisl found on a log or such, and thye won't. here's what will happen. Grant looks to his side, see's aRaptor standing between seats across form him, then Amanda speaks in a puzzleing way, Grant wakes up, and Amand's speach makes sense. It's been done to detah in other flicks.
And JP3 cna neevr be like JP, becasue JP was alla bout Awe. For eveyrbody. Know, the audience know sit, and so do some stars. Yes, newbies seeing dinos for the firts tiem will be awed. But really, who wants to see 5 people oohing and aahing while Grant says, "Been there, done that, bought the T-shirt." Now that we've alls een the awe, there's no need to reawe us in every sequel.
If this si real,a nd gets cut, we'll hear about it and how it was to work out. We always leanr of cut scenes, filme dor storybaorded.

At 2:03:13 AM on 10/7/2000, HMT said:
Aloha Owen-I guess none of us are going to know the reliability of my information until the film comes out. Then I will have either been right or been wrong. I am just passing along what I have. And as others have mentioned, everything is subject to change and scenes do get cut. When I post scenes, we can all take it with a grain of salt until July 18, 2001. Then we will know if I've been duped or led in the right direction.

I just read all of those comments and I think that we caint judge the scene (completely) until we see it. If they show the raptors head and have a big LOUD raptor roar/squeal it should make the audience jump. But if it shows the whole body of the raptor in a seet with its legs crossed its not going to make the audience jump or get scared! Just like the Dennis death scene in Jp! A computer nerd plays fetch with a dilophosaurus, its not that exciting until you see it for yourself!

At 10:09:05 PM on 10/6/2000, GoldblumRules said:
Sorry but I have trouble thinking of ANY director who could make this dream sequence work. Maybe if Grant's in bed, yeah OK, I'll buy it, but what I don't buy is that a) Grant is going to fall asleep during a flight that likely took less than a half hour, especially given the anxiety, good or bad, he's having about seeing dinos again, and b) that a writer for a high profile film like this would concoct such a Z-movie scene. Then again they've hired how many screenwriters?

This just doesn't sound Jurassic Park-ish. It sounds quite pathetic. Sorry, Bob, but I am doubting the authenticity of your news.
Universal aren't stupid. They're not going to let major spoilers like this leak out so easily.

p.s. I am not accusing Bob of lying, just the reliability of his source.

I don't know if this has been posted but how about Grant is sitting in the chair talking to Billy, and the scene doesn't change, but the camera moves off billy's face and zooms in to Grant's so you can only see him. Then the camera zooms out and Grant turns his head towards Billy, but instead of Billy, we see a raptor head, and it snarls. Then the scene changes back to Grant and Billy.

Dan don't say that... don't you remember when David Koepp was interviewed during TLW and when asked about a third film he replied, what is there left to do but give 'em a song and make 'em dance? Oy... bad memory...

Dan's just taking the information he's got so far and making some generalized opinions about it. In any normal film discussion forum, with the known info on JP3 at hand (even with people who loved the first one), the general consensus would be pretty negative. The countless screenwriters rumored to have been attached to it, from Craig Rosenberg to whoever the heck the newest rumored guy is (there were at least six or seven other writers brought in), bring up memories of films like Alien 3 and The Flintstones and The Devil's Own...

And as far as Grant's dream: this somehow rings a bell... remember the Malcolm-dream rumor for TLW that was "confirmed" for quite awhile. Again I don't doubt Bob but I question the reliability of his source. Honestly with this kind of info it sounds like he got his hands on a person really close to the production or a shoot schedule and a partial script!

maybe it's like that Twilight Zone movie.. there's this gremlin like thing out on a wing of a plain and there's a guy that keeps seeing it out the plain window.. and it's ripping up the plane's engine.. and the guy takes a gun and shoots the window out.. and the gremlin grabs the gun and breaks it.. and grabs the guys face.. and shakes his thinger at him.. it's freaky and cool.. actually that'd be cool in the Jp3 movie if it's a raptor instead of the gremlin on the wing of the plane.. it'd be cool in a dream anyway. But then it'd be to much like the Twilight Zone movie.. but it'd still be COOL!

THis is what I think-He wakes up in the plane turns his head toward the seat next to him(the camera is also moving this way)and a raptors head is right in his face and he wakes up.

Have a little faith everybody. For those who don't know about it in advance, this scene is going to make them jump. If done well, it could really be a crowd-pleasing moment.

It does sound stupid, and maybe Grant was tripping. He was probably doing a little somethin somethin before he falls asleep. And I know I've said it a lot before, but this sounds a lot like TLW. With all these "action sequences". I really wanted this movie to be more like the original JP, but so far it's just not happening.

At 3:07:05 PM on 10/6/2000, Dan said:
Bob: True, they had nothing to show us, but that JP3 "teaser" is so bad it's embarrasing! I mean, the TLW teaser was much better, and they didn't have anything to show when that one came out either.

They never said the Raptor was in the plane, neither Grant. In my understanding, the dream is about Grant with a raptor staring at him, next to him. Then he wakes up. It's very clever indeed.
