In "Toy Story 2", the characters in the film pay homage to JP when we see Rex chasing after the car through the rear-view mirror, with "Objects in mirror are closer than they appear" printed on it. (From: Jared)

Here in England some stores are already selling the JP and LW DVDs a day early. I've already got one of those display stands when the store is finished with it but it's not the same as the one Dan is showing on his page.

i'm very pissed off at universal. they clearly said WORLDWIDE release on the 10th, but lots of people are reporting seeing it in america and i can't even get the price for the damn thing. Universal: there are people down here, we do have DVD players and we're not fucking stupid so hurry up and get them released at the SAME time as everywhere else.

I'm not sure that Universal would cut out content form the small double set. Or anyhtign else. I thought the Colelctor's one had eveyrhtign and the two soundtralks and those film cell images thingies.
Well, better they all get them now, then for some to be missing them. I doubt many would buy them if they ahd less to offer.

Ya know, Universal have gone back on their word since the original press release.

They said that if you bought the JP & TLW Collection (this is NOT the big set - just the small set) then it was going to have cut down content on it.

The big deluxe boxed set was going to have all the extras on the DVDs. Also, if you bought the DVDs seperatly, then it would have all the extra content. Same with the DTS discs - they would have all the extra content (except the small stuff that had to be cut because of the size of the DTS track). DTS versions are only available if bought seperate.

Since then, Universal have made out that if you buy the JP & TLW Collection (this is the small one) then the discs are going to be the same as the ones that you bought seperatly or the discs in the Deluxe boxed set. ie, The JP & TLW now come with all the extra content that was originally not going to be included with 'The Collection" boxed set.

At least, this is what amazon.com are saying on their site...

I suspect Universal made this change when they announced that the DVDs were also going to be available in 4:3 Fullscreen versions.

ok, is the JP and TLw DVDs, and two volume VHS's going to show the new dinos from JP3? Because when I bought Jaws 25th Aniversery edition it had a preview for it, and it said that in the DVDs it would have "a live hot link to the set of JP3 were you can see all of Speilbergs latest Dinosaurs". Is this going to still be in the DVD's? Please someone tell me. JP Animal Control over and out!
