If this one is true, I have to wonder why the Aviary's made outta brick...

Sounds cool. Love to see this scene.
Embroy, Neil and co didn't sign ontot a 40 page script. They signe donto a fulls cript. THe news said only 40 pages were beign used. A sin, last minute junking of most of the movie, and too late to sign off. So Neill and Macy began writing it themselves.

anyway they filmed at Oahu before the Kauai shooting.

Cody was there a while back.. they are done filming there now.

At 1:22:22 AM on 9/26/2000, Embryo said:
Well Bob only said they left Kauai. Is it possible they decided to film the rest of Oahu, and the script news was fake. Huge stars like Sam Neill, William H. Macy and Tea Leoni wouldn't sign on to a script 40 pages long...

Cody said a guy at the gate told them that's what they were doing.. was filming part of JP3 there.

those pics of filming on oaho or whatever doesnt show anything that actually proves they are filming there.. its just a road and cars

    yeah it does!

Embryo but you believe that stuff your friend sent you isn't fake? ( I'm not saying it is fake... but you still have to take it like it might be fake.)

    This sounds fake.

If this is true, maybe they will be incorporating even more previously un-used scenes from the JP novels. That would be cool.
I would love it if they included the scene from the LW novel where Thorne and Levine are in a jeep being pursued by Raptors.

No, no, no, they cover the styrofoam (prob. spelled it wrong) in cement or plaster, its just waaaay easier make stuff out of it, most of the buildings at theme parks are styrofoam covered in cement or some form of plaster. They mostly use it to make mountains and shapes that are to hard to make normally. I'm sure its a lot easier to make a big dome out of styrofoam first and hose it down with that stuff which is why they were using it, they might have been making biiiiig trees to, who know...

At 7:06:05 PM on 9/25/2000, Oviraptor said:
BULLshit they do so use styrofoam.. the T-Rex's cave and Hunter's camp in TLW were made of it... so they use it.

That would rule if they put the aviary scene in the movie, Especially if they make it like they described in the book, Cant wait to see the dactyls as well

Just to keep myself from going crazy.. it's not styrofoam.. studious make nothing of styrofoam cuz it's too flimsy and breaks too easily.. it's probably some foam blend.. and no, it's much easier and cheapoer to build a "White wall" oiut of wood than foam, foam is expensive, it's used when something needs detailed carvings.. if they were indeed unloading "Styrofoam" it was probably encasing lighting equipment or maybe even parts of animatronic dinosaurs..

I think the whole film should be based on stuff they left out of the book. I know-you guys are tired of hearing me say that.

At 5:36:07 PM on 9/25/2000, Oviraptor said:
yeah it should be pretty cool.. it'll probably be cgi also.. when they see it from far off.

An avairy is bascially a zoo of birds... a big enclosed structure where the birds can't fly away. There's a cool one at the National Zoo in DC. :)

Yeah, the Aviary scene is the one scene I was always hoping they'd put in one of the movies. Sorry to bring this up again, but perhaps those styrofoam blocks are all that is left from that "mysterious white wall" from a few months ago, which I assume was also made of styrofoam.

All right $teph get the hell outta here! Just Kidding ;-)

Um, the aviary was one of the best chapters in the JP1 novel, where Grant and the kids rode a raft down the river and got attacked by some divebomber dactyls in a big glass dome. It's been rumored to be a scene in all 3 movies.
