Until I see her listed in one of those databases I mentioned as being attached, or read about it in <A HREF="http://www.variety.com/">Variety</A> or <A HREF="http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/">The Hollywood Reporter</A>, I fully intend on considering it just that.

I tried to find a website for that <I><U>Southland Times</U></I> newspaper, but came up empty handed. Would still like to read the actual news on a newspaper or magazine's website, wherever you guys are seeing/hearing it.

I've heard the Elisabeth Shue rumor once before,
but it was months ago, so is probably untrue. My
suggestion: take all these rumors with several grains
    of salt.

What I meant was, that none of the Hollywood project tracking databases (<A HREF="http://www.inhollywood.com/">In Hollywood</A>, <A HREF="http://www.pkbaseline.com/">Baseline</A>, <A HREF="http://www.showbizdata.com/">Showbiz Data</A>, <A HREF="http://www.imdb.com/">IMDb</A>, etc.) have either actress listed as attached, rumored or even interested yet.

Thanks for the name of the newspaper stating the info -- what are the names of the other "several things" you've seen this report posted in?

A note about wild rumors: the "Dinosaurs in San Diego" rumor back in the JP2 days, as crazy as it seemed so early in production, turned out to be true. So you never know... :)

I just read this article report, from the Southland Times, (NZ paper) & it checks out pretty good!

It is not confired of course but For the person that said no other paper or magazine has reported it, that was untrue, I have read several things before this on Elizabeth Shue, joining, and twice about Helen Hunt

Any chance of confirming this report by finding out what the name of the newspaper was that reported this? Apparently, this unnamed newspaper is the only source on the planet that is aware of Hunt & Shue's signing to the film, since no other Hollywood sources are reporting it. Hope it pans out to be correct...
