The critical error they may be making is that they're not LISTENING to the fans this time. A JP movie is supposed to be like a well-made cheeseburger, to paraphrase Spielberg, and we only like what we see when it's got all the key ingredients. It sounds like they didn't have much to work with from the get-go... which is just the problem. If they want to start anew, fine, that's their decision, but it would be easier on them to just return to the freaking BASICS and come up with a good story FIRST before making the gigantic challenge to themselves to try and make a bad story GOOD. With JP1 it was easy- they already had a great novel to begin with.

It all depends on how Spielberg stands at the end of this one. If he feels anymore would just drag the series on, he won't do anymore- he is that loyal to fans and audiences, he's no Jerry Bruckheimer. As far as ANOTHER writer coming on... here's my suggestion: Joe Johnston should just hire the CG monkeys from Jumanji. I honestly couldn't tell you at this point who would write the better script. Even the Election guys didn't get it right! SEND IN THE MONKEYS! SAVE JP3!

I don't know if this is true or not but there may be a JP4 called The Last World. My friend showed me a list of upcoming movies and it showed alot of movies including JP3. He told me it was a 4th Jurassic Park. It was supposed to come out in 2002. I wont be able to find out what site he went to because he moved. I got the site but I forgot over the summer. I hope it is true but I don't know if they could have an entire movie done in just a year right after another movie. What do you guys think? Was my friend lying.I am alittle sceptical.

Meg, is the movie Disney is making. It is based on the book by Steve Alten. Alten recently wrote the sequel to Meg called The Trench. Big Fish, is something totaly differnet.
