Shoulda had Biosyn get their own Amber, cloen their own dinos, then keep thigns under wraps afetr the San Diego Incident, unitl soemhting csues the dinos to escape. ro else they have their own island of free dinos,a nd Trevor and Co end up there. Basically it's JP1 and 2 combined for a new version in 3.

The critical error they may be making is that they're not LISTENING to the fans this time. A JP movie is supposed to be like a well-made cheeseburger, to paraphrase Spielberg, and we only like what we see when it's got all the key ingredients. It sounds like they didn't have much to work with from the get-go... which is just the problem. If they want to start anew, fine, that's their decision, but it would be easier on them to just return to the freaking BASICS and come up with a good story FIRST before making the gigantic challenge to themselves to try and make a bad story GOOD. With JP1 it was easy- they already had a great novel to begin with.

There will never be a JP4 in 2000 thanks to JP3's problems. They'll go twice as slow ont he script. Gee, ever sicne JP3 was announced, it's been problems. 1 whole year of not doing anyhting, now all this. And gee, another wirter yet again. Soemoen else to screw it up. Do Ihear 10 new pages of viable script? No? Big surprise. Goldblumrules, you want to know who can write a good one, we all could. Unfortunately, no one off this site can.

TS146, it'll be some time before we can have any idea about them making a JP4. All I can say is, it's a 99% chance that project is far from being an official greenlight. It all depends on how Spielberg stands at the end of this one. If he feels anymore would just drag the series on, he won't do anymore- he is that loyal to fans and audiences, he's no Jerry Bruckheimer. As far as ANOTHER writer coming on... here's my suggestion: Joe Johnston should just hire the CG monkeys from Jumanji. I honestly couldn't tell you at this point who would write the better script. Even the Election guys didn't get it right! SEND IN THE MONKEYS! SAVE JP3!

JP Animal Control yes my friend may have read it wrong but he did say JP4 as Oviraptor metioned and when I read it it said The Last World. Who knows maby the site owner typed it wrong. Would't it be cool if the owner did't type and there is a JP4. This was over a year and it had JP3 on it so this may be real or it might be this The Last Word. I guess we have to wait and see.

TS146, your friend wasn't lying 100%. The movie you are thinking about is not The Last WORLD, but The Last WORD. It has something to do with the old west. Harrison Ford is in it. Go to: http://www.corona.bc.ca/films/details/lastword.html, to find out more. JP Animal Control over and out!

I don't know if this is true or not but there may be a JP4 called The Last World. My friend showed me a list of upcoming movies and it showed alot of movies including JP3. He told me it was a 4th Jurassic Park. It was supposed to come out in 2002. I wont be able to find out what site he went to because he moved. I got the site but I forgot over the summer. I hope it is true but I don't know if they could have an entire movie done in just a year right after another movie. What do you guys think? Was my friend lying.I am alittle sceptical.

At comming Attractions, this is what they say about Big Fish: based on the novel Big Fish: A Novel of Mythic Proportions written by Daniel
    Wallace.

Premise: As a son listens to the tall tales spun by his dying father, he begins to understand both his
father's successes and failures in life.

See, this something totaly differnt then Meg, and The Trench. I recently saw that Disney didn't renew its rights to Meg, so any copany could still make it. Go to www.megsite.com to learn more about Meg, The Trench, and the upcomming Meg 3. I don't work for them, so don't think I am trying to promote them. I just think it was a good book and there site is pretty cool. Well thats all I have to say on the Big Fish/Meg disscusion. Now back to JP3! " The greatest movie in the works" :) JP Animal Control over and out!

oh yeah thats right Meg was the first novel.. my bad.

Meg, is the movie Disney is making. It is based on the book by Steve Alten. Alten recently wrote the sequel to Meg called The Trench. Big Fish, is something totaly differnet.

no that was " The Trench. " unless the name has been changed from the novel.

Someone a little while ago mentioned that book and upcoming movie BIG FISH in a comment. Dont remember who.
They said it was about a megalodon or something. It's supposed to be Disney though if I remember.

i'm sorry but you are wrong Seige_6. Go and titan a.e. were only failures commercialy, they were the exact oppiste for cretics, who all gave both films very good reviews, but even good reviews couldn't save those films which i thoght were both pretty damn good

Yes, no writers mean no script, or at least a good one.

I seem to remember that Ebert really liked Go.. I liked it as well, but it was a little too much like a rip-off of Pulp Fiction for my liking.

So he's writing the JP3 script huh? I hope he does better with the critics than he did with Titan A.E. and GO, because those did really bad both commercially and with the critics.
