Hey i just downloaded the trailer and i agree it is ver very poor but i think some parts are good the sound effects are very shit but the lightning effects and scene is quite good and sets a scene for us to think about but i think that it was made purely for the DVD versions of JP and TLW and i think there will be a bigger and badder trailer soon but i also wanna say that that was only a teaser trailer so dont take it on board as the real trailer because hardly any theatres show teasers anymore but the teaser did suck theres no doubt about that and i think the T-Rex is gonna get savagly killed by that big bad mother of a dino that roars at the end

The JP3 teaser is the epitome of a good trailer teaser, it ''teases'' you so much and you want to see what is going on at the island and what is going through those bushes, but all we hear so far is dinosaur roars.

I've been watching the trailer for a little while now, and there are two things that i found interesting 1: When the camera moves through the bushes at one point I swear there is an eye, (maybe its just glare on the monitor or wishful thinking). Second of all that noise at the end, perhaps its the T-Rex being killed, I figure the first roar is T-Rex : Go Away. Then the second noise is T-Rex : Oh no Im dying. Maybe the creature that slashed the logo (
and appears on the logo) had blood on its claws (hense red slashes) after killing the T-Rex.

I just downloaded the trailer and you were absolutely right. What abunch of crap. It was very cheesey to say the least. How dissapointing. Heck the TLW teaser wasn't much, but it was still awesome! Just seeing the T-Rex loom over you and put his foot in your face was incredible. Very entertaining, and quite the opposite of JP3's teaser. I know its just a teaser but damn. They should really make a new teaser for theaters.

Plus remember this is computer quality, the images will look alot better on high definition screens. I wouldn't be surprised if they made another ''teaser'' with a little more footage and the tagline ''Evolution Of Adventure'' and/or ''Dream. Fantasy. Destruction.'' The slash marks sounded creepy, like something out of Nightmare On Elm Street.

As for my opinion of the trailer - it's mixed really. It could have been much better, and also much worse - if I get the time I'll post a review at JP3HQ.
I just hope and pray that JOhnston, the actors, and everyone else involved knows what they're doing...

if you think that it is on sorna now you are a fool. cos if you slow it down then it clearly shows the shape of Nublar on the fly in. i think it rocks. And it shows everything and nothing all at the same time. The slash is corny and has the sound of metal eliminating the whole dinosaur slash effect but i like it and think its cool. And sure it probably was done in 2 hours but i'd like to see you guys come up with something better in 2 hours. They are making this movie very fast and that is what i am worried about.

The JP3 trailer ''teaser'' looks great. It definitely doesn't give too much of the movie away. The background music sounds like it came from the original JP soundtrack, very dramatic. The beginning kind of reminded me of a part in the Black or White music video, it looks cool and has a ''3-D'' feel to it. You can't see any dinosaurs but you can hear them making noises, they sounded really hungry. It basically then shows some lightning, something moving through bushes, and some mountains. Then the JP3 logo appears and the 3 slash marks magically appear right after.
As you can tell I really liked this trailer. In the past I would get a little angry at trailers because they gave away alot of the movie. Well the JP3 trailer doesn't, it's suspenseful and leaves you wanting to go see the movie.

WOW! That trailer was good enough for me. I am not going to complain. It was awesome and it really did get me excited when I heared the dinosaur stomping through the jungle and then heared the roar. I love the music at the beginning. It is the exact music that was at the beginning of JURASSIC PARK. The lightning effects were great and it did build up suspense and it leaves you wanting more. The island looks very cool. JURASSIC PARK 3 IS GOING TO BE GREAT!!!

As for a description.. we see the "zoom-in" Universal logo with the JP music behind it.. then black.. then some lightning, and a flash of jungle, then more lightning.. and more black.. and we're going through Spielberg's back yard.. then a canned T-Rex roar (can't see it), the JP3 logo comes flying in, a cheesy "slash" sound and the three slash marks that make up the logo appear. Then "Coming to theaters Summer 2001".
