Even though Speilberg directed TLW, he has been quoted saying that sequels are nothing more than a "cheap canary trick" (From: 'Dinosaur_neill')

    HELLO! HELLO! HELLO!
I've been saying I thought they'd destroy the island and have a plesiosaur attacking the raptor boat in a lagoon the whole time.
I don't want to see it on both islands. That would spoil it. I just want to see NUBLAR. I think they'll have a thing like at the end of the first book where it shows him and some other peolpe leaving in the chopper just as it's getting bombed.

yeah only in the JP novel.. he didn't die in the movie.. he left in the boat with the other workers!

yeah, he only died in the book i thought

the sea dino (swimming one) was probably kept in a specian concrete building with water in it so it couldnt escape but no one except hammond and wu knew a bout it. wu is dead and hammond is a lireing turd. so the dino remains in its house untill it grew to big for its home so it broke through these iron bars that kept the dino fed on fish and swam around in the lagoon, when alan gets to the island the y are going down the lagoon in the rapter boat for some reason and the dino attacks the boat like the rex did in the book.....
    sorted respect

Unless it's territoreal. Then it wouldn't leave.

DX, the theory is it's in some sort of super-secure holding facility, but when dismantling the island, they accidently release it, and no, I'm betting it wouldn't hang around the island once that happened. :-)

It isn't Baryonyx! Now get back to the subject!

    :)

you don't know that for a fact and u can't go by some stupid video game...

Does anyone here pay attention, the dino on the poster is clearly a Baryonyx. Its in the video games the toys etc. And why would a huge sea dino just hang around the island, it could swim anywhere?

At 8:40:12 PM on 9/9/2000, Oviraptor said:
well they aren't going there in a sub..

OK, I remember reading about a scene that would have been possibly taken out featuring a "water dinosaur" attacking a sub, but some one felt it was too similar to a scene from Godzilla, well after hearing what embryo said, I bet that had to do with going from Nublar to B, and of course they couldn't fly there because the plane crash we've heard about....

yeah I believe Sam Neill not Corona!

Going back to nublar is a great idea! And the new "terror" will be sweet. And I think all of us know that dinos roaming in the city is just a lie. Sam Neill is right, not that movie site.

    At 11:49:33 AM on 9/9/2000, Seige_6 said:
I agree with Ovi on his comment that he said maybe they show them destroying it. But when they're destroying it everything goes haywire again, and that new creature is released from where it was being held because it was too feirce and strong for the fences. Like the one raptor in JP.

Where in there did it say anyting about dinos in the city?

At 4:41:22 AM on 9/9/2000, mrContica said:
There's just one thing about this plot. We all the time hear about dinos in the city fuckin up everything...(that would suck so incredibly bad I don't even want to see the movie)

But then think about what sam neill is supposed to have said. That it's a prequel to the lost world and stuff, and at the beginning of the lost world there was NO dinos that had ever roamed in a city so if that interview with sam niell is real doesn't that mean that the rumors about dinos in the site are just plain bullshit?

I agree with DH4 i wanna see Nublar again. I have been hopeing for this. And it may come true. But yet another rumor to send sparks flying. This is the best news sine Dr Grants return. :)

Yup, disinformation. One island,t he the othe,r ro both.
Nope, thye will not reveal the new dino. They're doing something called surprising us. Very hard to do when they come right out and tell us. I bet the cast won't know until they hsve to say it by name.

Is universal ever going to tell us what new dinosaur is going to be in the film?

Yeah, well I'm not Joe Johnston you know.

    <Everyone looks suspiciously at Embryo>

    I'M NOT!

This is great news. JURASSIC PARK 3 will be great if Dr. Alan Grant goes back to Ilsa Nublar. It will be just like the first Jurassic Park (THE VERY BEST JURASSIC PARK!) Nublar is a lot more exciting than Sorna and it has more beautiful scenery and surroundings also. The entire island is filled with wonder. Please take place on Nublar!

At 12:07:35 AM on 9/9/2000, Oviraptor said:
Maybe it shows them destroying Nublar.. cause Ludlow never did say when it was destroyed he just said it was.

At 11:59:45 PM on 9/8/2000, Embryo said:
Yeah, that would be cool. This news, sounds real. I don't know what it is with me and news, but I can somehow tell the difference of what is real and what isn't.

At 11:58:07 PM on 9/8/2000, Oviraptor said:
Nublar?? Maybe they are going to Nublar and Sorna!!! half the movie on Nublar other half on Sorna.

At 11:57:01 PM on 9/8/2000, Embryo said:
Maybe they go back to Nublar because of mysterious deaths, and then to Sorna. Explains the line: "From Point A to Site B".
