Only one dinosaur in all three JP movies has been killed by a human -- a raptor was killed by Kelly's devistating kick in TLW. (From: Cloner)

I can guarantee that the photos are of the set. You must realize that when they film, they add flora in different places. Also remember, Kauai went thru a category 5 hurricane while they were filming. Alot of the gate was destroyed. The pillars were left on request of the state, which used them to put up their own gate. I swear, so many doubting Thomas's.

Are you sure those are the gates. I am sure that there were all ferns and trees and stuff in jp.
I now find it unlikely that the movie is on either sorna or nublar.
I think that there may well be a new island.
    D'oh

It's unlikely if the movie is based at Isla Sorna :P

Nah, this is kinda sad. I mean, look at it. I haven't watched Jurassic Park for about 3 years now, but I remember the area looking so different. I mean, there were palms and ferns everywhere. I just can't believe this was the set for Jurassic Park. One scene that gets me is when Nedry uses the override to open the gate...

I have no idea why but that just seems like a scene which never took place there :(

I wonder why they left the steel pillars...

And when do you think it was torn down?

Think they might rebuild it for JP3?

All good things must pass :[ But it probably was about to fall down anyway like TLW visitor center.
