I think it was 60 days, not 600. If it is a third island, expect more JP's to be made to use them up.

How about this: JP3- Prequel to TLW, JP4- Sequel to TLW.

JP3 is next year's Episode 1 event... of course it's going to break opening weekend records. Have you heard of any recent mega-hyped film in a series that opened lower than it's predecessors? Also, one of these guys or both of these guys that claim to be seeing production sheets is full of BS. The other guy said 600-some days, now this guy claims 140 days... neither one really made any sense to begin with, and JP3 began preproduction a lot longer ago than 79 days, and it certainly started filming just recently. Either that or they both had serious typos.

It won't beat out The Lost World opening weekend gross and it will defiently not beat Titanic but I think it will do good. I hope it at least makes 200 million. I would be happy with that. JP Animal Control over and out!

i wonder if Jp3 will break any box-office records, i hope it beats atleast opening day or opening weekend. Because i know that it wont be able to beat Titanic. But i atleast want it also to beat The Lost Worlds total boc-office gross. YEH!!! It has to be on nublar, anyways they have to make it on nublar... um because... mmm... it will be better

that would kinda be cool to see hammonds park reopening and seeing people visting, but that would be impossible because... bla bla... chaos... does this... cant do that, and on

i hope they show the raptors hunting another dinosaur and show them fighting over the meat like in the lost world. I always wanted to see the raptor kill another for food, like when they kill the raptor then eat him...
    That was cooool.......

I don't care what happens as long as sorna makes only a cameo at most.
Sorna was rubbish compared to Nublar.

I pray that this film takes place on Nublar.
the worst scenario yet though would be a third island.
that would be stupid cos it's like saying. We have an island with dinos on it. And another. and another.

That would just be rubbish and insulting

well who says they can't be going to Nublar and Sorna.. or one or the other islands could be a cameo.. or half the movie on Nublar the other half on Sorna..

It does say Dream. Fantasy. Destruction. So that fits. But Evolution of Adventure cna't work for a prequel. And the Hawaiian Tours Site says they're using that palce the Brahcios was firts seen in again, which may or amy not emna Ilsa Nublar.

This could mean a prequel is in the works, but it also could mean that Hammond(assuming he's still alive) is trying to realize his dream all over again a rebuild the Isla Sorna facility into a brand new tourist park, considering that rebuilding on Isla Nublar would be a start from scratch proposition.

does the box set thing for dvd have the trailers for jp3, because on amazon.com on the special collecters edition box set it doesnt say anything like that but the other single collecters edition says it does

mabey a cameo of sorna would be ok, like they renewed the operation facility and they have scientists there that observe the dinos from safe distances. But just them mabey reporting something strange like a dino with DX (a small scene like they show the sick dino or something) but thats it

At 8:11:32 PM on 9/2/2000, Ed Regis said:
Like I said on the other comment board-you know how much criticism they woulod get for having a prequel. Besides-you REALLY want to see the flims end with T-Rex in the City. And just because they're using sets that are close to the last ones---doesn't mean anything. I don't want to see both islands. One or the other.

mabey they are renewing the lost world visitor centor for the "sancuary" or whatever. I think that it will be about nublar and how the dinos survived there too. I hope it isnt a prequel to the lost world

At 7:34:55 PM on 9/2/2000, Oviraptor said:
No there's only 5 islands " The Five deaths." and Nublar isn't one of them.. it's 80 miles from Sorna .. all the islands in the 5 deaths aren't very far from one another.

I though we were positive it wasn't going to be a prequal.

It might be a prequal to TLW. Man I wanted it to take place in Jurassic Park. I hope it is a park operations center.

Heh, haven't read the books in ages, but i thought Nublar (what a weird way to spell it) was one of them.. Aren't they atleast close? I'm thinking this movie will involve the destruction of the park by the company in some way shape or form. I don't see them sending anyone back for any reason but i'm sure someone had to go back and close the place totally down. I'm thinking, especially since everything at IOA is newish looking, that they'll rebuild Sorna and demolish Nublar. Does that make sense? As in the movie will involve the getting rid of the orginal park, and the incidents leading up the destruction of Sorna.. like perhaps moving the Dino's around, maybe even killing off the Dino's... kinda sad.. but maybe..

It could be a prequel .. yes.. sounds like it is .. the way they are newing up the building. and it's the 5 deaths not 7 and Nublar isn't with that chain of islands.

At 12:40:55 PM on 9/2/2000, Loric said:
If TLW is being refurbished, and yet there is also Nebular stuff.. why can't it be between the two movies and involve both islands? The stuff about the hurricane could of been a cover-up and all.. Maybe both the islands suffered the same sad fate.. They were part of the seven deaths right?
