I do not think it is about a relocation, but it will be starring a new cast, with support from our old friends. My thoughts may have been secured when they hired Amanda and rick Jaffa- Some of the characters who were in contact with the dinosaurs could become severely ill from a disease contracted from the dinosaurs, a fatal one never seen before. So, they send a team to gather samples for scientific purposes in the hopes of finding a cure. Meanwhile, Sam Neil has been scouring the polar caps to prove his theory that dinosaurs not only cared for their young, bot would migrate many, many miles to do so.

The Topps comics had a side story going on following two employees while the main movie happened. Granted it declined into an idiot trying to make dino people because dino people from the future contacted him in a dream, but the idea of other events happening during the tour could lead to a good movie.

NightCrawler, I like your idea. I like NightCrawelers idea and where he's going with that. There is a lot of potential in the deconstruction of The Isla Nublar and relocation/deconstruction of the Isla Sorna facilities; I mean there had to be a ton of shit that was worth at least millions, from computers to even dinosaur info on floppy discs (dare I say embryo's maybe?).

I sequel about RELOCATION? thats the DUMBEST idea in the long sand history of DUMB ideas.

I thought it was pretty clear that the park would be CLOSED SHUT after all the deaths in san diego.

I imagine the Ingen employees/scientists/hunters/greedy bastards and such had a hell of a story to tell after they finished that job; at least the ones who LIVED to tell the tell.

I am so excited about this. Guys, I really do not think you all know how excited I am. I have been waiting for this sort of since I walked out of JP3 opening day back in June or July of 01' so, well some of you may know how I feel. This is amazing. After seeing JP in theaters for the first and only time mere weeks ago, the way it was supposed to be seen. In the past, at 6 or 7 years I saw JP on a small T, on VHS huddled around with the family AMAZED. I'm 25, a kid at heart, and I'll never give up on Jurassic Park. And its future, for its past was past perfection, its future has only just begun.

"Or it could be a prequel, showing all the problems and trouble they had with the park prior to the weekend investigation in the movie. I'm picturing scenes from the JP toys card line..raptors escaping and killing security guards, Muldoon rounding up dino's, Wu and Harding, and Regis (who gets killed). It ends right before they bring in the big raptor at the beginning of JP1."

    this could work i guess

Just a thought, how awesome would a movie about the deconstruction (or relocation of the dinosaurs) of Nublar following the events of JP and the eventual closing down of the facilities on Sorna as a result of hurricane Clarissa actually be? Could be an awesome retro period piece! And would fill the gap between JP and TLW. If someone had the guts to do it!

Cloning dinosaur smust bee illegal by now in the JP Universe. Please no new parks or new cloned dinosaurs.

Anything on Nublar must be new. The dinos would all die out. Lack of Lyscine for one thing. No, there were no Lyscine enriched plants on Nublar. That's the whole point of Sorna. It was a once in a lifetime fluke. After all that Hammond mentioned, you really think he missed the dinos survivng on Nublar? Plus the numbers don't work. no way such a small amount of dinos can survive 20 years. Even with reproduction. But we've been through this for 20 years. Watch JP and TLW. Ignore the delted scene sif you msut. But both movies conclusively prove there are no dinos or anything on Nublar. People must have returned by default. There can be no ruins of JP. Ruins of the 2nd attempt, yes.

There were no problems before the movie. We know this from the movie. That worker died, and the investors freaked out. You propose many other deaths occured, were succesfully covered up, but this one guy's death slipped through? Onr or two deaths maybe. We know the raptors were deemed dangerous by Muldoon. Wanted them all dead. Obviously, something happened. Not necessarily death, but something. Somehow he figured out there speed in an open field. None of which makes for an interesting movie. Might be good as a short incldued on JP4 Blu-Ray.

I would love to see the same story in a totally different way. The scene where Wu gets outrun by a raptor to the door is cool

    Youre all forgeting one thing...

they say the forth is the beginning of a new trilogy so my question is...

IS THIS REALLY GOING TO BE A PROPER SEQUENCE?

i think its going to be like SPIDER MAN...
same story, in a totally diferente way

They could easily have more raptors. Grant finds raptor eggs in the forest, so a raptor or two could have escaped before the tour group was even invited to come, and bred. That's at least two more adult raptors out there in Nublar, and a couple juveniles.

There are compys on Nublar. There was a cut scene where they were eating the severed leg of Genarro. Stan Winston created a couple Compys for JP, but the scene was cut due to being "too gory" :( . Hopefully we will get to see the JP deleted scenes one day on a Blu Ray release, but there is a picture...google it, its cool.

Back to JPIV, this could be a great opportunity to tell the story of the "destruction and demolition" of the Isla Nublar facilities. After the incident at the park, Ingen surely sent in a team or a few teams to grab inventory and retrieve any and all valuables that were able to be salvaged.

I wonder if it may show them making an attempt to reopen the park, like a fewmonths after the first incident they made another attempt to reopen the park, but something went wrong, like Sorna the idea was abandoned, something went wrong, they left something important and a kid gets hopelessly lost in the jungle....

At 5:15:17 AM on 5/3/2013, NightCrawler said:
edit: a tour around Sorna with regards to the science behind it

Also with regards to the dinosaurs no Raptors either, only 3 were on the island, one was locked in a fridge the other two were T-Rex fodder.

At 5:03:23 AM on 5/3/2013, NightCrawler said:
If I wasn't worried about this movie before I am now, do I need to point out the obvious, that island is dead!... It also has (see; had) far less species of dinosaur. No Compy's, no Spino, only one T-Rex, no Pteranodon's ect You're going to lose all that just for the sake of seeing a few 'showroom' ruins? Whats the point?... We still haven't had a proper tour around Sorna yet as TLW was purely about the dinosaurs and JP3 had the opportunity but the people behind it in their infinite wizdom decided to just breeze right over the subject.
