And there really isn't any proof that DTS is better than Dolby.. technically, they're both almost exactly the same.. it's really just a personal preference kinda thing, I guess.

The hot link will proabably be clickable, and lead to a web address. Just copy it to paper, and type it in. On a DVD Rom computer, it'll probabaly be a clickable link to the site.
Why would anybody giveup cool extras for better sound?
If it gets to be big, they'll probably make a 2 drive DVD player. One for normal stuff, one for sound.
THen again, the Japanese suppsoeldy are working on a new format which will hold 40 times mroe than a DVD, but who knwos when or if that'll be. If it ever come sout, expect DTS on eveyrhting. This should hold it.

DTS - Digital Theater System (Close, Oviraptor). It's simply a competing sound format to Dolby Digital.. There's a debate over which is better, but fewer DVDs come with it since it takes up more space on the disc (and thus, less room for special features). You need special (and expensive) DTS audio hardware to use it, so like I said, don't get the DTS version of JP unless you specifically have DTS hardware.

I believe you have to have a dvd rom drive on your computer which will allow you to access the Jurassic Park 3 hotlink.

DTS stands for Digital Theatre Sound I think.. and does anyone know how the JP3 " Hotlink " thing will work?

Whats the difference between the dts version and a reguler dvd?

oh ok Dan thanks :-) I was worried there for a minute..

The DTS version *doesn't* contain several features, like the "early production meetings", "location scouting", "phil tippit animatics", and probably more, since the DTS audio track takes up more disc space than the normal Dolby sound... This is only page one of the special features, btw, which might confuse some pepole (so, like, for the normal dvd, the "dinosaur encylopedia" and "theatrical trailers" are probably on the next page)

I know it IS from the movie, but maybe the one at IOA was meant to look like the one in the movie :)

The waterfall.. isn't that from the Helocopter pad scene? Just wondering, cuz it also reminds me of the waterfall at the splashdown area of the JPRA at IOA.. which i hope to be visiting during October for some scouting on the movie :)
