When Lex says, "It's a UNIX system, I know this!", she's right! The 3-D graphical interface shown in JP is a real program (the "Virtual File System") that users of SGI's high-end graphics workstations (that run on UNIX) can actually use to navigate their computers.

Just because a dinosaur wasn't discovered before 1993 doesn't mean that the fictional amber didn't have the DNA. Theoretically they could invent a dinosaur and say that it is one that simply hasn't been discovered yet. Though obviously that would discredit the series.

But I think they won't put in dinosaurs that weren't discoverd before 1993. So I guess that would mean no Therizinosaurs.

So still only the arms huh? When I was 10-12 years old I drew my own vision of a complete skeleton, based on scientits' comments about it ofcourse. It kinda looked like a big Segnosaurus.

Just the arms. Luckily, it has very unique arms that show pretty conclusively it's a giant ornithomimid.

I hope they're gonna put in the Deinocheirus! Not sure if enough facts are known about that species already, so it might come down to a lot of guess-work. Anyone know how much of that species is known at the moment?

Yeah, that's why I hope they a) don't fuck up JP 4 and b) use some cool-ass dinosaurs in it. Like Therizinosaurs, and gliding sinornithosaurs that attack from above!

    First.

Cool. Not really related, but I just find it interesting how most of the dinosaurs in the Jurassic Park movies were virtually unheard of until they were introduced in the movies, and now they are household names.
