Yeah...the dino's would either have to swim to California then walk all the way to Manhatten, or swim all the way around the globe, crossing continents, to get to Manhatten. I highly doubt most of them could swim a few miles, let alone that far.

And by the way, Hammond rented Isla Nublar and Isla Sorna from the Costa Rican government....he didn't rent the other 3 islands.

Manhatten is in the Eastern US. Isla Sorna (and Nublar) are in the Pacific Ocean.... off the Western US mainland.

"Of course before we'd get dinos in Manhatten, we'd have to have dinos going on a reverse Manifest Destiny since the islands are in the Pacific."

REVERSE Manifest Destiny= going West to East.

Why, oh why am I explaining myself?

    One more thing..

What the fuck are you talking about? Manifest Destiny about dinos getting to the manland? Are you that fucking dumb?

Dinos got to the mainland in the books you dumbasses, and there are books anways around the island.

Ellie got married and had a son.

    >>and expanded the new island....and the fact InGen had not released information on everything they were doing....AKA Spinosaurus.

I don't think they had time to update their database. So many people see a giant conspiracy, when really, there's no reason they didn't evacuate before they could file the Spino. If they even knew what they had.

There is no way Hammond would have enough money to lease all 5 islands in that chain.

And there is no way any dinosaur, except for an aqua dino or a flying dino, would be able to swim to the mainland. They would drown and be carried away in the current. Although....I would be kind of cool to see a preditor dino fight a modern day preditor. For example (if you take the whole ocean approach, a raptor vs. a shark...even tho raptors supposedly cant swim)
Maybe a raptor versus a pack of lions or tigers or something. just a thought....an original one.

Im not sure what everyone means by each movie "adding to the franchise"...
This isnt like Star Trek where they are creating an entire new galaxy. 2 small islands, and a dozen or so dinosaur species.
TLW added the concept of Site B - a second island, a few new dinos, and some new characters. It also expanded on some of the original characters. JP3 added a few more dinos, a few new characters, expanded on some of the original characters (well, actually, only one. Grant. Unless you count the fact that Eric informed us that Ian Malcom had written a book), and expanded the new island....and the fact InGen had not released information on everything they were doing....AKA Spinosaurus.
So yes, while not all that significant, both JP sequels have added to the story, but none so much as the original JP, cuz lets face it, that movie created everything and was the best of the 3.

BTW, I still say JP is best, JP3 second best, TLW 3rd best. I wont say worst cuz TLW is good...just not as good as the other 2 in my opinon....prolly cuz I like Grant more than Malcom lol

The second movie doesn't add anything to the JP name either, but they make movie and make good action movies.

Well to some degree, I agree. It does seem like everyone is jumping at shadows looking for rumours as hard as they can, and once they find (or create) a rumour, they just expand on it. Like for example, as soon as the rumour that he was in JP4 started, rumouts started about what part he would play, how he would relate to other characters, etc. All I'm saying now is that alot of the bullshit rumours are being built off other bullshit rumours, leading to....you guessed it, alot of bullshit.

REALLY! He's not? But the other news story said he was gonna be in a movie with four in the title! Gee wizz!

Seriously, for you guys to assume he was talking about JP4 was pathetic and a desperate attempt to post news about a movie that will most likely not get made. And if it does, it'll be a horrible piece of trash. I know you all want more JP, but TLW was enough, they didn't need anymore sequals. JP /// added nothing to the franchise and this one looks like a shitstorm of scifi action.

Like I said before, vampiric dinosaurs is a better idea than the current script for JP4 lol

Umm, while I would love to see David in JP4, crappy military dinos or (hopefully) not.... Has anyone considered that the whole 'four' thing might be him plugging Crow (4): Wicked Prayer?

It'd be great to see him in JP4 though, girlfriend would probably be more interested in seeing it if it had Angel in it.... Throw in some vampires, this could be the perfect film.

On a side note, I had a very difficult choice to make tonight: see either Shaun of the Dead or Resident Evil 2.... Long story short- I ended up seeing Resident Evil 2.... it was about on par with the original; take that however you will. Personally I enjoyed it. But I'd still love to see Barry and Wesker and Chris.

Look at this week's (Sept. 13) edition of In Touch magazine. Page 94 talks about Boreanaz's upcoming projects and while he mentions his being considered for Fantastic Four as well as other rumored roles, there is no mention of JP4. I truly believe when he said "Four is the key number" or whatever, that he was referring to Fantastic Four and not JP4.
