Not even Charles Bishop Weyland redeemed the fucking movie. He was old, out of place, and served no purpose.

I just saw it today, and while yes it doesnt have a good story, it does keep your interest, and is an OK movie. Not a masterpiece by any means but not too bad. No where near as good as Alien, Aliens, or Predator, but better by a long shot than Alien 3, Alien Resurrection, and Predator 2. Some aspects of AvP didnt fit in that well with the individual franchises, but other than that it was pretty good.

Really now. Everyone Ive talked to about it said it was pretty good. Better than Predator 2 and Alien 3/Alien Resurrection anyway.

i never liked jp dinossaurs in the city either but i think Jurassic Park 3 expanded many ideas and made us get a little tired.

maybe its just me, but Im kind of done with the pteranodons (sp?). I'm not convinced they were really fighters anyway....or that theyd ever go after prey as large as a human. and if youre gonna have them, definately not hundreds. and im all for the idea of maybe 2 rexes taking down the spino. maybe even 3. but 4 is pushing it a bit. a mating pair of trexs maybe but trexs didnt hunt in packs.
I think it was confirmed Knightly wasnt going to be in JP4....maybe not.

Sorry, but Ive always been opposed to the JP in the city thing. I mean i didnt mind it that much in TLW but for the whole thing to be in the city, it would just be another Godzilla movie with smaller dinosaurs, and we dont need another one of those.

Plus as much as I love the Jurassic Park series, it doesnt stand up to LOTR. Even the first one. I mean the original JP is one of the classics and an awesome movie but in terms of in depth story and characters, while very good, just not as good as LOTR.
Altho Sir Richard Attenborough and Sir Ian McKellan are both amazing in their rolls.
