First of all, let me say I loved JP the novel. Read it long before the movie came out and it has always topped my list. The reason was Crichton created real living, breathing dinos. I never had that sense in the movies, the dinos were little more than monsters. As for MEG, yes I read it, and I perfectly HATED it. Writing at sub-elementary school level, a shark that wracks up an unbelievably high body count and characters thinner than the paper the book was printed on. But that is only my opinion. If you like MEG, Alten has a sequel out entitled THE TRENCH. Now in paperback I think.

Walking with Dinosaurs was cool but its not as cool as Jurassic Park and the Lost World, I think most other people who comment on this site would agree with me on this. Not to say Walking with Dinosaurs sucks but its not as good as jp and tlw. I want to see the sequal to walking with dinos.

Dinosaur were cool, but paleontology has many other interesting animals. Some non-dinosaurian animals I would like to see: the "terror birds" of South America, saber-tooth tigers and mammoths, Australian prehistoric animals like the Marsupial "lion," giant kangaroos, carnivourus kangaroos, and a giant monitor lizard, or the biggest shark of all, Meglodon (spelled wrong). What about everyone else?
