Also Lewis Dodgson should be the main human villian in JP3.. there has to be a human villian since...

    JP had Dennis Nedry
    TLW had Peter Ludlow

Lewis Dodgson needs to be in it anyway and he and his team should be stealing dinosaur eggs like from TLW novel.

Actually JP3 can still be about anything since all the plot news we have so far are rumors.. and none of it's been confirmed.. and yes your idea is way 100% better than JP meets Gilligans Island :-)

I was thinking. What if instead of having a Gilligan's Island meets Jurassic Park thing, what if Grant goes on the island to observe the animals in thier natural habitat. Sounds alot better than Gilligans Park errr jurassic island errrr, I am confused.

Baryonyx did you ever read the book called Meg by Steven Alten. I'ts about the Marina Trench ( which is the deepest part of the ocean) and Megaladons live down there. It is a great book! it is the guys first book and it shows but it is still good! They are going to turn the book into a movie, it should start filming in a couple of years. The book has a lot of swear words in, but I think there going to cut that out of the movie because the movie is made by Disney( not touchstone). But I wonder what the T-Rex will look like in the film. Because in the the begining of the book it talks about the history of the Meg and shows it eating a T-Rex who went into the went into the water. Will it look like the dinosaurs from Disney's Dinosaur or will have a resemblance of the JP T-Rex. Or it could look all new. Jurassic Park is my favorite movie of all time. ( Just added that for fun) Anybody with the making of The Lost World book, there is a page where there are tall trees and Brachiosaurus walking around and there is two people at the bottom. don't those two people look like Grant and Sattler? Remember this is in the lost world book! I don't know the exact page because I have missplaced my book, but when i find I will tell you. JP Animal Control over and out

Well, I liv in Oregon, but I do have family that lives on the east coast In Jersy. It's pretty cool in oregon. You know in TLW where that guy gets it by the compys when he gets lost in the woods. Well the Forest in Oregon looks igsactly like that of the forest in the moive. When I go to the moutians it kinde of reaminds me of that. Aso I think that in JP3 they shoud have that one dino, supersaurus, or what ever its calld. All I know is that it's the biggest dino that ever lived. And maby a megaladon, you know the prehistoic great white. But then again we want this moive to be originl, and not another Jaws moive.

GoldblumRules where exactley do you come from? I notice you favour New Zealand alot! It would be good for them to do filming here but the cost could be more excessive because of the remoteness of Fiordland. There are many films being made in New Zealand lately and it is becomign a very popular place for filming because of it's varying landscape etc.

Here is some info from a site that might help my case about then Metriacanthosuarus: (Spinosaurid are a family of meat eating dinosaurs with tall spines along their backs which supported a sail of skin) such as Altispinax and Metriacanthosaurus. See Metriacanthosaurus was in the Spinosaurus family. So now I am almost convinced with all this info that the JP3 logo is a Metriacanthosaurus. JP Animal Control over and out!

You may be right JP Animal Control I checked that out on my JP movie and I saw That too. I may change my opinion too. I really dont care what dino is in jp3 because I think every dino is cool, but we cant rule out Suchomimus or Spinosaurs. Its to early to realy say what the dino is because we dont have enough info but again you may be right.

I HAVE A NEW OPPINION ON THE JP3 LOGO!!!!!! I now think the dinosaur might be a METRIACANTHOSUARUS!! Because the Metriacanthosuarus has three fingers like the logo, and this website said that Metriacanthosuarus had spins that were ten inches long, making a skin sail. Which was used in regulating body tempertures! It was a carnivore and when Nedry was stealing the embryos the name Metriacanthosuarus was on embryo storage. So does anybody think I could be wright????? Please tell me what you think!!! JP Animal Control over and out.

I thought it suspicious too but I'm just writing EXACTLY what I read in the magazine (which is now about two weeks old as it was on the table in the staff lunch room where I work). It was just a small clipping of 'gossip' in a side column. How good their source is, is unknown - hey it's a weekly womens magazine. 15 million still seems a high price for Sam Neill, as GoldblumRules said "He's no Brice Willis"

    At 10:00:06 AM on 7/28/2000, TS146 said:
I think it would be great to have Sam Neil in jp3 because he was my favorite person in Jurassic Park and he was a better actor than Jeff Golblum in The Lost World. Jurassic Park was just better than The Lost World.

yeah New Zealand is so beautiful it'd be the perfect place for filming..

Utahraptor, I'm going to mention two known facts which should not be ignored, EVEN by you: 1) Spielberg was the uncredited executive producer on the first two, and he was always intent on making sure costs were kept down (in fact he could have spent much more but declined for reasons of "excess"), and 2) Johnston already said awhile back that the budget would be $83 million, and this was before Neill was supposedly signed for $15 million (which I am beginning to doubt is true- L love the guy but he ain't Bruce Willis). Signing on Neill for this sum means the budget would HOPEFULLY go up. More money will likely be spent on animatronics, because despite the decreasing cost of CGI, animatronics are going up. And with ILM working ALSO on Episode II, A.I., and God knows what else this fall, poor Stan is gonna have his hands full. If this story IS true, the budget could be in the vicinity of $95 million. And while they are at it, why the heck don't they just go to New Zealand for gosh sakes?!? That's really starting to make me mad that they're not filming there and I hope at least some second unit is done there.

At 3:09:56 AM on 7/28/2000, Utahraptor said:
I'm not sure this means other starts will be paid less . With 2 films and the franchise they can afford more. Also, SFX has gone down in price, up in capabilities. Plus, if they really want somebod, they'll shell out the bucks, and still not scrimp elswhere. JP was cost caustious because everything was new, With two movie's worth of animatronics, and CGI already made, recycling comes into play, saves on costs. And quite frankly, I bet Goldblum would get more if they really want him. And still not scrimp elsewhere.

Has anybody been on Jurassic Park The ride in Hollywood? I was on JP The ride at IOA, and I wanted to know which one is better. ( I guess I am asking people who have been on both). I saw the preview for the ride in Hollywood on one of my old VHS and it looks better then the one at IOA. But I want to know people's oppinons. I also noticed that alot of you were complaining about the heat this summer. Well where I live it was in the 70's today. BRRRRRRRRRRR!!!! It is preatty cold for summer here. I live in Pennsylvania. I couldn't find the story on that website. Are you sure about this, Dan? Anyway, if it is true, it's a good bet this won't be costing $83 million anymore. It's probably upwards of $90 million or more. The budget is actually a good topic to discuss, because TLW cost $73 million to make (JP varies in estimates- Gerald Molen says it cost under $60m, while most other reports indicate $65m). If this costs $90 million+, it's a good bet we'll finally see a TRULY thriving Jurassic Park. My only fear is, if Neill is paid this much, the studio is not going to be too keen on spending much more on actors.
