An early German copy of the JP novel had the title translated to "Dino Park" -- in subsequent versions, however, the English "Jurassic Park" was used. (From: jphp)

He's not talking about The Lost World, Jurassic Park, idiot. He's talking about the A&E The Lost World. And they WERE NOT T-Rexes. They were Allosaurs.

"My opinion of The Lost World. It honestly was a dissapointment. I would have expected better from the makers of good movies like Dinotopia and Allosaurs and absolute Masterpieces like Walking with Dinosaurs and Walking with Prehistoric Beasts. The scene were the two allosaurs attack the village was the only scene I really liked in The Lost World. The Lost World was too long and it draged. The Lost World is not a bad movie but not a good movie either. I am not saying you shouldn't watch it I am saying that it won't be added to my DVD collection."
#1 they are Trexs, you fucking dumbass retard. and you call yourself a JP fan...
#2 i distinctly remember you saying you like JP3 and TLW over JP, and here you are saying the absolute oposite. WHAT THE HELLS WRONG WITH YOU!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Jimmy, you look to far into these things. First off, the people who did the effects, did just that, did the effects. They didn't make the story so that's irrelevent that it was made by the same people who made the walking with series.

Hey, this is kind of off topic, but..

Does anyone have the Jurassic Park browser? My browser sucks fucking anal, and it won't load any popup pages, or anything like that. Pisses me off when I'm trying to look at porn or something. If any of you could send the JP Browser to me, it'd be of great help. Thanks.

Glad this has a 5.1 mix. The Walking with DVDs unforunatly only include 2.0 mix.

I thought it was pretty good - fairly close to the original Conan Doyle version, except they threw in a "romantic interest" or two, and Peter "Columbo" Faulk (spelling?). Could have done without his character I think.

Its no Jurassic Park, but then it wasn't meant to be. Its story-driven rather than effects driven.

Anyway, if you want to watch the movie in one sitting (rather than 2 parts), I'd recommend you get the dvd. Its also got a making-of feature and a scene-specific commentary which is very interesting as commentaries go. For a TV show its excellent quality - Widescreen Anamorphic (1.78:1), with DD5.1 sound.

There's a Region4 version and I assume a Region2 version as well. So if you've got a multi-region dvd then feel free to send all your US dollars to the poor Australian online dealers :)

It's actually pretty good, and I would recommend you all to watch it.
The effects are reasonably lame, but decent considering the budgetary restrictions.

Seen it twice now. It's quite good I hope you enjoy it anyway. The CGI is easily as good as dinotopia but unfortunately a lot of teh acting is equally as bad. I imagine it was made for about 1/10th the budget as it's a british production. It does have "Columbo" in it though which is probably the biggest American star we could afford ;-)

I felt the music really copied John Williams TLW score in places. See if you agree with me.

Made by the creaters of the Walking with films. I am there. The Walking with films were fantastic I own all three DVDs. Still the idea of people finding dinosaurs in some lost jungle seems very unoriginal and I hope they make this new.
