What other songs were featured in a JP movie besides Randy Newman's "Big Hat, No Cattle" in JP3? JP had "Que Milagro Chaparita", while TLW had "Tres dias", two mariachi songs from Mexico. (From: imap)

Well I did sorta have a little trouble with dinosaurs talking but you have to understand that Dinotopia isn't trying to tell an ultrascientific tale, you know. It's more of a fantastic tale where you take it where it is and go from there. I mean people don't go around criticize beloved fairy tales for inaccuracy. Dinotopia is like a modern day tale of sorts. The dinosaurs have developed a language and learned human tongues somehow. it's not totally impossible if you consider that dinosaurs have been living therer for years, and the really intelligent dinosaurs like Zippo come from the brainiest of dinosaurs, even though at the time their intelligence was equal to most birds today, which really isn't an understatement in the animal world. To further this point, there are some reletively intelligent birds trained here today, like grey parrots, some which have the emotional level of human babies. I meanin the first book they protoceratops Bix(i hope that's rioght, i can't my copy of the first book) talked and even translated. Anbd therer also was a Deinonychus who helped run a library. It's just part of the territory, and i my self have enjoyed the series being a fan of the original books.

As for JarJar, in AOTC he's groen up alot(perhaps he hit puberty?) and is now a Gungan senator...so he's probably going to be a better character, though i never really had a problem with him

Dinotopia is not that bad. It had more effects shots than all three Jurassic Park films combined times two. The special effects are decent. Though it is not as good as the Jurassic park films or Walking withs but it was decent. The third part is tonight.

You know what's worse than Dinotopia?

The fact that they are making a Regular Dinotopia Series.

It had such horrible acting in it. But how do you guys expect the CGI to be that great? It obviously can't be as good as JP because it's a T.V. show. It doesn't have enough money.

Ya, in the books, the dinosaurs talk by gruntingn and groaning, stuff like that.

Jar jar isn't the end of the world, i think that some people, here other people bash him, then some more people bash him, and others hear the bashing. It's customary to bash Jar Jar. I hate it, it's just following a trend to bash him.

This looks iffy to me. Plus, the producer Halmi dissed JP in the TVGuide article, saying it didn't really have a story. HEY, JP has more hardcore fans than this series ever will.

Jar Jar sucks ass (thank God his role is diminished in AofC.

Gotta agree with _jurassiraptor_. But then again, they'd have to heavily increase the action... special effects that big would only be used in stories with great conflicts, it seems.

I wish they hadn't animated those speaking mouths, though. Ech.
Dinotopia could have been an awesome film.

Well the movie would have been fine without Jar Jar but he did make me laugh. I don't understand why people hate him. To those who hate him tough because he is in Attack of the Clones. As for Dinotopia I will watch it but my expectations are low.
