Well I did sorta have a little trouble with dinosaurs talking but you have to understand that Dinotopia isn't trying to tell an ultrascientific tale, you know. It's more of a fantastic tale where you take it where it is and go from there. I mean people don't go around criticize beloved fairy tales for inaccuracy. Dinotopia is like a modern day tale of sorts. The dinosaurs have developed a language and learned human tongues somehow. it's not totally impossible if you consider that dinosaurs have been living therer for years, and the really intelligent dinosaurs like Zippo come from the brainiest of dinosaurs, even though at the time their intelligence was equal to most birds today, which really isn't an understatement in the animal world. To further this point, there are some reletively intelligent birds trained here today, like grey parrots, some which have the emotional level of human babies. I meanin the first book they protoceratops Bix(i hope that's rioght, i can't my copy of the first book) talked and even translated. Anbd therer also was a Deinonychus who helped run a library. It's just part of the territory, and i my self have enjoyed the series being a fan of the original books.
As for JarJar, in AOTC he's groen up alot(perhaps he hit puberty?) and is now a Gungan senator...so he's probably going to be a better character, though i never really had a problem with him

Dinotopia is not that bad. It had more effects shots than all three Jurassic Park films combined times two. The special effects are decent. Though it is not as good as the Jurassic park films or Walking withs but it was decent. The third part is tonight.
