MuldoonRules: I'm pretty sure they won't leave the hill white. They will most likely add plants, trees, bushes, etc, etc, on it to make it look like a tropical environment in the jungle. I'm also pretty sure that they won't film any people on it at all. It will most likely be used as a jungle backdrop for outside scenes.
Besides, wouldn't it be a little strange to see the "Lost World"'s Visitor Center set if the movie took place on Isla Nublar?!?!? :-)

The white wall could be a cliff face for an action scene with the pterasours. It could also be just a white wall for computer generated scenes, some times they will stand actors in front of white walls then build the scene around them. But I'm probably wrong.

P.S. Yes, that location shoot picture is VERY exciting! That wasn't on there when I was at Universal last month. I wanna go back there SOOOOO BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This has got me all wanting to go back to Hollywood, now. It was so smoggy when we were there (but not as much as San Francisco! Yuk! We couldn't see the top of the Golden Gate Bridge!)

It was left over from The Grinch filming, and like Dan said, they're probably recycling it.
I don't agree with Chapter_11. I think it's just a backdrop they're using to cover up the LW set behind it for live-action shootings of JP3.
Dang it, I wanted to be the first to get those pictures in. Ahhhh, well... you know that I saw it & got it on video first, so I guess it's the heart that really matters, eh?

Here's just a speculation. Rumors are that the story might follow the the Lost World Novel pretty close. Well, in that novel there was a scene where 11 or 12 raptors were chasing people in a jeep up a hill. That White Wall looks like a hill with a road going up. But what do I know? I'm probably way off.
