Just watch the unbearably fake flying scene half way into the movie. Can anyone say "bad blue screen". In recent years, the only movie to do seamless blue screen has been The Grinch. Jim Carrey stands in front of Blue Screen covered in hair, and Digital Domain did an excellent job and blue screen, detailing every hair so u can't tell its blue screen. good work guys! but jp3 deserves the VFX oscar.

That being said, I wouldn't compare it to Lord of the Rings: it's not the same league; not even the same bloody sport. LotR is quite possibly a truly great film, and when Jurassic Park III is long forgotten, LotR will probably still be treasured. For some to say that JPIII was *better* than LotR -- hey, it's their right to think that; but I also reserve the right to think they're stupid for it.
