I dont think the jp3 logo depicts a Baronyx because I have a card that says Baronyx was a fish eater. The card says Baronyx is considered a theropod or two-legged flesh eating dinosaur. With its sharp claws and crocodile-type teeth it was clearly a meat eater,but one very unlike any other theropod. It had an exceptionaly long neck for a therapod,and a long,low head resembling a crocadiles head,specilized for feeding on fish and so on. Like the card says its head was specilized for feeding on fish so Baronyx wouldt be a threat to a human.

The logo's a Suchomimus. It fits the description exactly: 3 claws on each hand (each of them very long), same size and shape jaws, bumps correlate with eachother on the top of the head, on it's nose, and down it's neck.

Lets get one thing strait.The logo is not Baryonyx. The head of the creature is too big and on top of that Baryonyx DID NOT have a sail. No The Aviary was not on the map. In the book it was but not in the movie. The movie woud have been better if they had the Aviary, but they didn't. I think that they will stik with the old JP3 logo. Or maby 2 logos for JP3 insted of one like the first two.

I don't think there was any Baryonyx paddock in the movie since you could see the names of all the paddocks when the computer shows that the fences are failing... but also in another magazine I read that baryonyx was suppose too have a cameo in JP.. which never happened..

Listen, the skull of the logo is based on the <i>Baryonyx</i>. ;) Its a <i>Spinosaurus</i> reconstructed with a <i>Baryonyx</i> head. ;) The neural spines in the logo give it away that its a <i>Spinosaurus</i>. None of the other Spinosaurids had such tall neural spines as <i>Spinosaurus</i> did. ;)
The <i>Spinosaurus</i> was never completly found.

The dinosaur on the logo IS a Baryonyx. It isn't a "coincidence". It is the exact same logo as seen in that magazine. I think this movie will somehow at least have something to do with the original island, perhaps why Sam Neill signed on again. The Baryonyx I wouldn't be surprised if it was the "water" creature Stan Winston is working on, since that dinosaur eat fish. But ya never know.
