We got everything a DVD needs in Jurassic Park 3. The first two films had poor DVDs. There was enough storage on a DVD so that it could fit a DTS track and an audio commentary with all the doby digital supplements.

Frankly, I'm fine with the DVD the way it is. But, I signed the petition anyway. An Unltimate Edition would be great, and I encourage everyone who considers themselves JP3 fans to sign as well. Also, if you look at one of the JP3 specials, ILM I think, you can see an unfinished, and cut, shot of some Ankylosauruses crossing the river while Grant and the others are floating by the big herd.

Only 10 seconds were deleted from the battle. In the dino documentary on the DVD it shows the clip if you notice. In my opinion 90% of all deleted scenes I have seen shouldn't have been deleted. Most of the time when watching deleted scenes I say what idiot deleted these scenes. Both of the deleted scenes in The Lost World were wrongfully deleted.

There is more than 2 milliseconds of deleted scenes. There was at least 30 seconds edited from thje Spino/T-rex battle. And from thje current DVD, there are even CG shots that were deleted.

I have no complaints about the DVD. Maybe Joe Johnston on the commentary would have been nice, but I'm happy with Stan and crew. They did a better job than most commentaries I've heard (though no one beats the guys from Pixar!). You can't ask for deleted scenes. Remember? Joe said there basically weren't any! And would you pay another $25 for a 2 second deleted cut? I wouldn't. The JP3 disc was loaded with great stuff and I personally am very pleased.
So I'll ignore you're little petition and enjoy what we were given, which was very good.
Now if only Steven Spielberg would do a commentary for SOMETHING already! Not JP3, he didn't have much hand in it, but SOMETHING ELSE! PLEEEAAAASSEE!
