Also, in the first episode of the Dinosaurs series, it has a lot of interesting creatures that had been around for a long time, and were going to decline when the dinos came. I would like to see some of those(like the Postosuchus and Placerias) when they were in their prime.

I'm sure alot of people (I know some) also believed that life after the dinosaurs was very boring. Walking with Beasts proves them wrong in my opinion, and maybe there are some interesting things before the dinosaurs as well.

Well RaptorHiss, if you're not a Christian, I certainley recommend you become one.

I dought they will there were very few intresting things before the dinosaurs. A lot of fish and bugs and small early reptiles that resemble what we have today. Large animals were rare. Nature didn't evole big creatures til the dinosaurs. They were warm blooded so they can get big and cool looking. Still a film that takes place before the dinosaurs would be cool.

I think that after "Beasts", they will do the time before the dinosaurs. In the hard cover book that goes along with the "Beasts" series, the author mentions "If earth's natural history was made as a movie, it would be a trilogy. The first part would cover the amphibians, reptiles and insects before the dinosaurs, part two would cover the dinosaurs, and the third part would cover the mammals after the dinosaurs" It isn't a direct quote(I don't have my book handy), but it is close enough. I hope they do, and maybe an "Allosaurus" style beasts special in the mean time.

I saw it. It was awsome. I wonder whats next another Walking with Dinosaurs special or a Walking with Prehistoric beast special. You know the series isn't over. Maybe a Walking with Dinosaurs special on dinosaurs that were not in the first film.

Oh. Well, I guess you're right about that.

No dude I haven't seen the Matrix. But I hear it's not a Christian movie at all, and by the commercials, I don't like the type of feeling I get.

What's next for this series? Walking with Dinosaurs...then Prehistoric Beasts. What's next, Walking with Homo erectus? Eh, life really sucked after the dinosaurs stopped walking.

I wouldn't call the Matrix dark and evil. It's actually really good. Have you seen it?

I'm anti-Matrix! That movie looks dark and evil. I think a nice joke about that is on Shrek were Fiona is fighting the "merry men" and jumps and freezes in mid-air with two guys on each side, then fixes her hair and kicks them both.

'Walking with Beasts' (as it is known here in the UK) has been running for 4 weeks now (as well as 2 documentaries). It is an outstanding programme - the CG graphics better than 'Walking with Dinosaurs' with realistic hair/feathers etc - and they're covering a vast period of time that has been largely ignored in favour of the more glamorous dinosaurs. The only gripes I have with the series (and also with the first series) is the tendency to make it overly melodramatic (the poor little indricothere in distress etc) and, despite the wonderful depictions of the beasts, thet haven't quite mastered showing a totally convincing meeting of their feet onto the ground. They are minor points however, and you are in for a real treat. Those with digital TV (not me unfortunately) can access a more scientific commentry rather than Kenneth Brannagh's sometimes annoying voiceover, so I hope we have this option on the DVD, due in March. Overall though, a wonderful achievement.
