No deleted scenes? That bites. That's one of the very best parts. There should've been a scene were an adult T-Rex comes and kicks that Spinosaurus' hienie big time. That would've made the movie more worthwhile. And it would've been a perfect ending (unlike the poor ending it really had). Anyway, it's too bad there are no deleted scenes.

notice at the ptera nest, there are human skelotons. All the Site B personnel had gotten off the island b4 the dinosaurs were released, and the pteras had not really been in TLW cept for the ver end, so that leaves only one other place those bones couldve come from. Also, remember in JP, when they feed the cow to the raptors, and then pull up the harnest? If they did that to a cow, wouldn't Ben's peices be scattered, like, all over the island? I still think it was compies(or evil monkies).

sPeaking of Compies... WHAT ABOUT THE DANCING COMPIES DAN!? TELL US ABOUT THE DANCING COMPIES!

Ah, yes. Ben. Twas the raptors. Their nest was less than 200 feet away. If anything, they probly bit off his foot or something and he bled to death just out of reach. Hey, here's a question I want answered...

What killed Enrique and the guys on the boat? sPiney, or the pteras?

In the first JP Adventures book, Survivor (yes, I read that piece of crap) it said that Ben was "badly injured" on the landing. He died from that. No dinosaurs. However, I personally don't consider these stories as a real part of the JP saga. they're too far-fetched. I think that the compies got him and scared Eric off. That or the raptors.

this question has been tormenting me since July 18th, so now I will ask u guys: what killed Ben Hildabrand? U know, the guy who parasailed with Eric. I personally think the compys(or other small carnivore) found him, and killed him, since his skeleton is still in one peice but everything else is gone. He obviously never made it out of the tree. I hate it when movies leave unsolved mysteries like that.

Though I respect Dan, he could have said he hated it, and I would still have brought.

I buy it for the film, and Jp3 definetly delivers.

I'm lookin forward to seeing the pre-production poster art, that should be interesting along with everything else. The lack of Joe Johnston will be missed, but it doesn't really ruin the DVD, as I can see from your review.

I followed the amazon link to buy JP3 and thought it was quite funny to see amazon's special 2-DVD sale: Jurassic Park /// + Planet Of The Apes = only 43.19

I just thought it was funny how they put these two films together for people to buy. :)

Dan, what does the back of the case look like? They never show that and I want to know for some reason. That can be a cool part of the cover you know.

Cool review. It is a shame that we don't get to hear from Joe Johnston, Kathleen Kennedy, or anyone else involved in the creation of the movie, but, it will not differ me from buying this DVD(and skipping class to do so). Thanks.

Dan, why do you think there are no deleted scenes on there?

Oh, I forgot to talk about the menu transitions.. They're on the lame side, I must say: it opens with the 3 slashes, and a cheap-looking CG raptor looking through them. The different pages have other transitions, none of which are very memorable. The ones for the JP and TLW DVD's were better, but, they're just transitions...

Lucky you, Dan! You got to see it before any of us. Is there any transition animation when you choose a different option on the menu?
