In the first JP Adventures book, Survivor (yes, I read that piece of crap) it said that Ben was "badly injured" on the landing. He died from that. No dinosaurs. However, I personally don't consider these stories as a real part of the JP saga. they're too far-fetched. I think that the compies got him and scared Eric off. That or the raptors.

There is no going back. The end of JP3 SUCKED too. Spielberg is an asshole for fucking up TLW and I can't believe they shot JP3 w/o a freakin' script. No wonder the ending sucked (and so did the plot). Universal is just out to make money. You guys must be in denial if you didn't think that especially the ending of JP2 and 3 are very bad.
They should have kept the dinos a secret like the first one. The movies are so bad and childish now that I wouldn't be surprised if Barney was a dinossaur in the 4th one.. oh wait! He WAS in the 3rd one! OMG>>HOW SAD!

I personally think the compys(or other small carnivore) found him, and killed him, since his skeleton is still in one peice but everything else is gone. He obviously never made it out of the tree. I still like my idea for JP4 the best. I think it should be a prequal set on Sorna about the hurricane that destroyed the equipment on the island. The power would go out and the workers would have to venture off into the jungle to call for help in the middle of the hurricane. Here's an idea for a raptor scene: A group of, say, 5 people running in the jungle at night in the hard rain. It's very dark and you can hardly see them. They stop. The camera goes to the front of the group and shows them standing, catching their breath, not saying anything, still raining hard. Lightning flashes and you can see the group for a second. The camera circles around the group slowly and lighting flashes every once in a while so you can see them. When it completes the circle and is at the front of the group again, lightning flashes, and you see a raptor standing in the backround behind them. I know, it's kinda corny, but it's really cool if you think about it. What do guys think?

The thing about JP4 when made is the plot. It needs a good plot. I thought the plot for JP3 was very good but it wasn't like the first one. The thing about JP3 that was awesome was of course the action. It had more action than the first one but it was pretty much impossible to have a plot like Jurassic Park because TLW screwed it up! No matter what for JP4, TLW will still bring it down a little bit somehow.
