I am sure we all know this, but is highly disappointing that the JP: Survival project was pulled. It was pulled too close to a release date, I mean even the movie soundtrack has a trailer for the game! I am fairly confident it will be out... cause the game looked pretty killer. I just hope that it is now worth the wait...

Anusaurs you don't know anything. Polygons control the realisim, edges, and texture of the animation. X-box has 2.5x the polygons as Gamecube. A low end X-box game will the same as a high end Gamecube. X-box has the same number of polygons as the movie Toy Story. Also X-box has 1.5x the resolution as Gamecube. Over all X-box looks 3x as good as Gamecube. Add online support and very good DVD playback and X-box is definatly worth the extra $100. X-box even has more games.

One more thing, the extra $100 bucks that you spend on an Xcox or a Gaystation doesn't go towards better hardware for your gaming, it goes towards a cheap-ass DVD player. If I am going to spend the money on a DVD player than I'll buy a good DVD player. If I am going to spend money on a videogame console, than that should be the first priority to the developer/manufacturer. . . . . GameCube.

GameCube will have all of the same third-party support but on top of that they will deliver all of their high-quality games that they always have. If you are thinking about getting an Xbox, upgrade your computer and buy a controller (Halo is coming out to the PC anyway and that's all that Xbox has to persuade you anyway). If you are thinking about getting a PS2, although there are a few good games compatible with it, you might as well just buy a DVD player because PS2 is soon-to-be-obsolete and that's all they have is a FEW good games. Now if you want a good, reliable videogame console, at $200 bucks, you cannot beat the GameCube.

BOO YAAA!!! I was positive that they weren't going to give up on that game. I'm really looking forward to when it comes out, even if it does take a while. I actually think it was a good omen; the game being canceled, because I was kind of doubting that Savage would be able to make Survival an enjoyable game. If they are so stuck up that they had to have like 5 more bucks for themselves, well, it kind of shows what kind of people were working on it. I'll be sure to keep a look out for any other news too. Anusaurus, basically what you're saying is that the Game Cube will have less games. This is why I like PlayStation and Xbox more. They have such a huge variety of games by different companies. Because Nintendo makes most of thier own games, a lot of them are the same. Also, a lot of their games are for kids. Ex. Pokemon, Mario, etc.

Have you ever noticed how Apple computers have lower Mhz rates than non-apple computers at the same price?? That is because Apple's processor chip (which uses an IBM technology) basically works harder and faster than the competitor's chip. So basically those speeds are comparable. Nintendo is the only one who makes their own games! No one says "Boy, I love my VCR!!"; thats all that a Playstation or an Xbox does is play games made by third party developers. Nintendo is the only way to go when you consider the wide cateloge of their own games and all the same third party games that will also come out for the GameCube
