I agree with Jerm, i liked all 3. Each story was uniquely good. And to all you people who think they stink.... i fart in your general direction.

I think ALL of the Jurassic Park movies are really good! I don't understand why so many people hated The Lost World. That movie was great! So was Jurassic Park 3! But Jurassic Park, of course, was the best of them all!

P.S. The Lost World came out on video 4 years ago today. (Nov. 4)

i think joe did a great job with the 3rd film, sure it was shorter, but lack of length does not mean lack of quality. Spielberg, even though he may be a god, royally screwed the series forever with The Lost World. So no matter where you go from here it will never even come close to what the first one once was. We should have known the series was going down once Spielberg and Koepp jettisoned Levine and Biosyn for a hippie and some Robert Muldoon ripoffs. Johnston at least tried to put the excitement back in the series and realized it had to come from human/dino interaction not tired man vs man cliches. And Johnston succeeded far beyond what Spielberg could have done with a 3rd film. I mean you all remember what his idea for the 3rd film was right?

P.S. Billy Brennan is the 2nd best character in the JP Series (2nd only to Grant)

wow, thats the funniest thing i've heard in awhile...

Fact is, if the Spino was soooo big and bad, how come it didn't make into the JP series till the last movie???

Spielbergs' first mistake was having someone else make his movie, and amost ruining the series

Actually, Ovi, I agree with you. Paleontologist's belive that T-rex may have been one of the smelliest animals that ever lived. They were smelly. They were smellier than wet dogs or skunks, they were smellier than humans!

You're right, T-Rex is the king of the dinosaurs, even in JP3. I just hope Spielberg directs the 4th JP, I don't mean to offend the Joe's fans, but his job in JP3 didn't reached the quality of Spielberg's 1st film.

Johnston sucks....And HAHAHA Ovi, take a hint that the Rex is the king

When I said "changed" I wasn't just talking about their looks. The Raptors esspecially.

although i dont' think johnston ruined the series. i think i would have liked to hear him speak about why the dinos are different. but than again. johnston doenst' design the dinos.

winston's people do the dinos. they changed them not johnston. johnston just gave it the okay. OKay?

At 10:13:34 AM on 11/3/2001, Carter said:
I'm not at all suprised at the lack of a Johnston commentary, I think he knows that he screwed up the series once and for all. But I really would have LOVED to hear him explain why such blatent disregard was given for the continuity of the first two films, where the Spino came from, why the Raptors and Pteranodon's changed so drastically etc.

And T. rex deserves to be the dominant figure on the fourth disc, esspecially after Macy, Johnston and Horner unfairly dragged its name through the mud, just to make their exaggerated Piscovore on Steroids look good.

Sounds good to me, but, can you buy just the 4th disc and not all the trilogy set to get it???

I read a review of the PotA DVD too, and although the critic really stessed how much he didn't like the movie, he ended up raving about the DVD, giving the 2-disc set an A+.

Sounds like JP3 is shaping up to be more of a C+ Not much there, but can't say they didn't try.

I thought Joe Johnston did a commentary. Damn it, I was looking forward to that more than anything!

Bah, and they even put stupid Rex on the JP3 section menu on the 4th disc, Spinosaurus is the star thank you very much, not Rex.

Bah, Johnston was to lazy to do a commentary, just like Spielberg.
