As for the news he wasn’t in the WTC he was on his Job site on the roof when it hit. Church Street @ Murry Street (Where the plain engine his, is where is office is.) - Exactly one block away. He got all 75 works off the job in a heart beat after the planes hit. There is so much shit. Later slipping on the last 3 steps and jamming his back... but still going. Getting him self out as the building where collapsing. As he was running a little girl was getting trampled and shit, my dad running to her.. Picking her up with one arm and caring her to safety. Later to find out he was crippled so him and the other job supervisors that where with my dad @ the time watched over her till the right people came. Later end @ the Empire state building where he stayed @ the holiday inn that he completed 2 years before the job on Church Street.
Here are some ironic parts to this whole thing, my dad was given the order to close Church street section that’s the job was located on and since the city hall was there he could not do it since there may have been a possible bomb threat. Apr 4 weeks ago.
And with the collapse of the WTC he was running with a Garfield Track shit (triple crown).. go figure he called it his lucky shirt. As for the boots he had on while he was running he wanted to burn them since they weighted about 12 pounds each.
