    This blatant corruption. The conservative right, which I began my adult life supporting, continues to be its own worst enemy. I'm not exactly a liberal but this is the sort of crap that sets the intelligent members of its base into unceasing cringes, and makes guys like me ask how the hell things got so stupid.
