Hi you lot! For those new enough not to know me I was a regular on here for about 10 years. I have spent the last 2 years after being made redundant as a self-employed musician...

my studio site
been busy making guitars recording singer songwriters, writing music for children's BBC. Teaching and playing in my band.
How has life been on this Dan's Deserted Island? I miss the regular arguments about complete and utter rubbish, but I spend less time on the internet these days.

You missed a great argument about religion/science with Monkipizzle about a fortnight ago, that thread was nearing 400 posts in length. Eventually though, he was banned and the thread deleted. That's about it really, same old!

I haven't done any 3D for ages - well, apart from make the Big Cheese logo (on my website). It is so time consuming and I put my time into music now. And my home life.
I don't know if you remember but in 2003 I got married - well that didn't last long. In fact it was probably the loneliest time in my life. Since 2007 I caught up with my old girlfriend Sally, from highschool. Hadn't seen her since she was 15. 27 years later we just hit it off like we were still kids. I got divorced, sold my house and moved in with her and have been together ever since. We get along so well. She is the ying to my yang.

I am still working on the Pale and Crescent Moon. It has been through so many permutations - none of which I was happy with. Even had a 6 piece band at one stage just working on the albu,, but even that proved untenable. I am back to working along on it. But I will rope in friends with talent to fill in the places where I am not up to scratch.
The band I play in now is just a cover band but we do a great variety of stuff and it is really good fun + it pays!
